President Delegation from Lincoln University visited

On March 23th, Professor Ieuan Owen, the First Vice-President of Lincoln University, led a three-people-delegation visited our university. Vice President Professor He Huigang warmly welcomed the delegation. Heads from International Exchange & Cooperation Department, Graduate Department and the School of Accountancy attended the cooperation meeting.

  

Professor He Huigang , on behalf of our university, expressed a warm welcome to the guests from the U.K., and then introduced the school's history, characteristics of academic disciplines, students training mode, teaching activities and scientific researches, and international exchanges and cooperation. He said the common characteristics in the concept of school management and discipline settings that two universities share would lay a solid foundation for the cooperation. He expressed his confidence in future collaboration.

  

Professor Ieuan Owen shows his appreciation for our hospitality, then he introduced Lincoln University its faculties, professional features, research platforms and international education. He then expressed his common desire of developing inter-university cooperation in the field of student teaching, scientific researches, cultural exchanges and etc, expanding teachers and students’ horizons, and improving teaching quality and academic practice.

  

On behalf of the two universities, He Huigang and Ieuan Owen signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The leaders discussed and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation projects of 3+1+1 Combined Bachelor and Master Program, 1+1+1 Joint Master Program, student long-term and short-term exchanges and faculty visits, and agreed to sign respective implementation agreement in the future.
