On the afternoon of April 7th, Shu Bourgeon, the Asia Pacific Regional Manager of the International Development Department at ESC Rennes School of Business, and a delegation of four visited our school. Zhao Feng, the Dean of the School of Economics and Trade, Ping Yi, the Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Tao Zhensheng, the Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Trade, and Ye Hongtao, the Director of the Department of Business and Economics, met with the guests. The two sides had exchanges and discussions on cooperation matters.
Zhao Feng warmly welcomed the arrival of Shu Bourgeon and his team, and introduced the development of the School of Economics and Trade from the perspectives of its history, professional layout, subject construction, student training, external exchanges, and social services. He hoped that both sides could take this opportunity to explore ways to deepen cooperation and achieve mutually complementary advantages, and to start substantive cooperation as soon as possible.
On behalf of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, PingYi welcomed the delegation's visit and introduced the school's history of international exchange and cooperation, as well as the situation of Sino-foreign cooperation in education. She stated that in recent years, the school has actively explored foreign exchange and cooperation, hoping that both sides can carry out exchanges and cooperation at higher levels and in more fields, deepen the friendship between the two schools, and achieve greater results.
Shu Bourgeon introduced the development of ESC Rennes School of Business from the perspectives of historical development, geographical location, faculty, campus culture, international exchanges, and hopes to deepen exchanges and cooperation with our school, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.
The attending parties also had a frank exchange on the mode of cooperative education and talent cultivation, and reached preliminary cooperation intentions on the undergraduate master's program. Discussions were held around specific links such as curriculum integration, training plan, credit mutual recognition, graduation thesis writing and defense, and internship practice.
