[Translator Fuhua Chen] On the morning of June 24, Professor Zhao Feng, vice president of the school of economics and trade (School of international business), and Associate Professor Ma Yuxia, vice president of the school of international business, led the backbone teachers of the School of international economics and trade to the Business School of Hubei University for exchange and discussion on the construction of the major of international economy and trade. Cheng Shixiong, vice president of Business School of Hubei University, Wang luanfeng, vice president, Feng Xiaohua, chairman of the trade union, and Chen Xiaomin, director of the trade union, participated in the forum, which was presided over by Wang luanfeng.

At the forum, vice president Cheng Shixiong reviewed the historical origin of the cooperation between Hubei University and Hubei University of economics, and shared the situation of applying for national first-class undergraduate majors as well as the specific experience and practice. Chairman Feng Xiaohua introduced the practice and experience of Business School of Hubei University in applying for the national first-class undergraduate major in international trade, and shared the orientation, philosophy and training program reform of international economy and trade major of Hubei University.

Vice president Zhao Feng introduced the construction and development of disciplines and specialties in our school, and vice president Ma Yuxia explained the development and evolution of the Department of international economy and trade and the situation of teaching specialty. With regard to the development status and construction difficulties of international economy and trade major, the construction of teachers, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the situation of students entering higher education, the revision of training plan, the experience and characteristics of students' training, and the future development trend of first-class major construction as well.

Both sides agreed that the cooperation and exchanges between the two academies on the construction of first-class specialties should be further strengthened, so as to take the lead, build a fulcrum for the construction of economy and trade specialty, thus composing a new chapter.
