On the morning of April 14, 2021, the school of economics and trade held the CangLong forum (the fifth lecture in 2021) in the lecture hall 3 of the university college students’ activity center. Liu Huajun, the Taishan scholar and Professor from the school of economics of Shandong University of Finance and Economics, was invited to give an academic report, with the theme of collaborative promotion of pollution and carbon reduction and China's energy-environment-economy (3E) performance.

Professor Liu explained the quantitative analysis tools and research topics in detail in the process of thesis writing. Taking DEA model and its application as an example, professor Liu mainly analyzed the basis of research topics and application of DEA method. Lastly, Professor Liu introduced the sources of the research data. By presenting the data results graphically, professor Liu told the Chinese story about pollution and carbon reduction and energy-environment-economy, and promoted the establishment and development of China's economic discourse system.

The teachers who participated in the forum put forward relevant questions about the research methods, data and research results. Professor Liu answered them accordingly.
