On the morning of April 30, a team of key teaching staff from the department of international trade of Law and Business College of Wuhan Institute of Technology, led by its dean, Professor Jin Minghao came to the School of Economics and International Trade. The meeting was held in 503 meeting room of Mingbian Building with the theme of sharing experiences in specialty management and construction.

At the begginning, Nie Chuntian, party secretory of the school, made a brief introduction to the background of the establishement of the School of Economics and International Trade, its evolution and vision. And then vice dean, Ma Yuxia, introduced the schools work in the fields of specialty construction，teaching staff building, teaching and research, specialty honors obtained and so forth with the focus on the unique features and operating philosophy of the provincial-level first-class specialty, international economics and trade. Views are also exchanged on the status quo of the international trade specialty, difficulties in specialty construction, whereabouts of graduates, experiences and features in student fostering, arrangement of fieldwork courses, the future direction of first-class specialty construction and so on.

The meeting was undertaken in a friendly atmosphere and both sides expressed their willingness to further their cooperation in specialty construction between the two schools and put forward some suggestions on bilateral strategic cooperation for the next stage.
