(Correspondent: Yang Bo) In the afternoon of 26 August, our College held a welcome ceremony for new teachers in 2022. The induction ceremony was hosted by Yin Qingshan, Secretary of the Party General Branch, and attended by all faculty members to welcome the new entrants, Professor Yang Ying and Dr Ma Shaolin.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dean Zhao Jiwei introduced the basic information and allocation arrangements of the two new teachers.
Afterwards, Ding Juntao, Director of the Teaching and Research Department, laid flowers for Professor Yang Ying and Tan Shaojiang, Director of the Teaching and Research Department, laid flowers for Dr Ma Shaolin. Yin Qingshan, the secretary, and Zhao Jiwei, the dean, presented the two new teachers with induction packs.
Finally, the two teachers gave their induction speeches. Professor Yang Ying said that she was very happy to join the Faculty of Marxism Studies family and that she had learned through the summer workshop that the Faculty was a strong team with a fighting spirit and that she would quickly integrate into the disciplinary team and hoped for more guidance. Dr Ma Shaolin said she was moved and nervous, and that she would repay the expectations of the university and the college with full enthusiasm, teach conscientiously, research hard, make continuous progress and contribute to the development of the university and the college.
On behalf of the college, Yin Qingshan expressed a warm welcome to the incoming teachers and put forward hopes and requirements. Firstly, hoping that the two teachers can quickly integrate into the family of College, change their roles to adapt to the new requirements, and be able to take up new roles and make new contributions to the development of the college. Secondly,hoping that the new teachers will conscientiously implement the Ten Rules of Professional Conduct for Teachers in Universities in the New Era, always adhere to the four unities proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, practice the standard of four good teachers, strive to be politically strong, emotionally deep, new in thinking, broad in vision, strict in self-discipline and right in character in the new era.
