(Correspondent: Shu Jianping) Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of projects for the 2022 Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Special Tasks (Research on the Socialist Theory System with Chinese Characteristics), and Wang Juan's Research on the Innovation of the Mainstream Ideological Discourse System in the New Era and Qi Zhijian's Research on Political Identity Education in Southwest Border Areas in the Early period of New China (1949-1959).The number of projects approved ranked first in the province.

Ms Wang Juan has long been concerned with mainstream ideology and has conducted in-depth research in this area. Ms Qi Zhijian has been following the study of political science for a long time, and after collective discussions with colleagues in the teaching and research department, she finally decided on this topic.
