Recently, the Party Committee of our university issued a document commending the Top Ten Teachers' Ethics Pacesetters for the academic year 2022-2023 at Hubei University of Economics. Our faculty member, Mr. Wang Haitao, was honored as one of the Top Ten Teachers' Ethics Pacesetters.

Teacher Wang Haitao has dedicated nearly two decades to the field of education, unwavering in his commitment to the fundamental mission of a teacher for the people. His steadfast pursuit of the noble ideals of teaching and nurturing students has consistently placed students at the forefront. Actively contributing to talent development, educational research, social services, and public welfare, he has achieved tangible and commendable outcomes. Students affectionately label him as a strict teacher, while colleagues commend him as a passionate individual. Of particular note is his role as the head teacher for the Qingma Project Canglong Class in its first and third phases, as well as the Audit 2041 Class. Innovating in class management, he ignites the flame of idealism within students, fostering their intrinsic motivation. Continuously engaged in the creation of popular theoretical works commissioned by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, such as The Hundred-Year Party in the New Era (2022) and Chinese Path to Modernization in the New Era (2023), he received commendations from the Theoretical Bureau of the Publicity Department, expressed in a formal letter to the school party committee.His outstanding contributions led to his selection for Hubei Province's Marxist Young and Middle-aged Theorists Cultivation Program. He has received numerous accolades, including recognition as an Outstanding Head Teacher, Outstanding Undergraduate Mentor, National Student Union Outstanding Advising Teacher, and Advanced Worker in Ideological and Political Education in Hubei Province's universities.
