On the afternoon of May 28, 2022, in order to gather the strength of alumni and help the development , our school held a forum for alumni representatives to celebrate the 20th organization and 115th anniversary of the founding of Hubei University of Economics.
At the meeting, firstly alumni representatives presented souvenirs to the school, and the school also presented the 20 years of scholastic sports album to alumni. Secondly, Sun Hui ,vice dean ,introduced the achievements of the school in teaching staff, sports facilities, professional construction, academic research, personnel training, etc. in recent years.
Vice Cpc secretary of the school Gao Peng said that this year is the 20th organization and 115th anniversary of the founding of Hubei University of Economics. The theme of the celebration this year is leapfrog. For our School of Sports Economics and Management, in recent years, it has made breakthrough achievements in teaching staff, scientific research, teaching and research, professional construction, talent training, group activities and other aspects, and the school has also achieved leapfrog development. After several years of development, our training objectives should be clearer, the talent training program more reasonable, and the training direction more distinctive. While realizing the scale development, the scholastic sports industry is also moving towards the direction of high-quality development.
During the alumni exchange speech session, everyone spoke freely, shared the kindness of teachers and students and plans for future development. During the discussion, the alumni were proud of the rapid development and achievements of the school, thanked the school and teachers for their training and education, shared their work experience and life experience, and put forward valuable suggestions. The alumni hope that the school will further strengthen the education of students' outlook on world & life and values, strive to improve students' practical operation ability, innovation and entrepreneurship ability, strengthen cooperation between schools and enterprises, and strengthen the follow-up guidance on graduation employment.
Finally, Gao Peng emphasized that alumni are the most valuable wealth of the school, who are the witnesses and builders of the school construction. The school will fully support the development of the alumni, and hope to continue to receive the concern and support of the alumni in the future development process, and work together for a better tomorrow of our school.
