Recently, the 2024 FISU World University Cheerleading Championships were held in Split, Croatia. The cheerleading team of our school won the silver medal in the mixed skills event.

The competition is hosted by the International University Sports Federation and hosted by the University of Split in Croatia. More than 500 athletes from 13 countries and regions participated. The Chinese college student delegation consists of 102 college athletes and 18 officials from 8 schools including Hubei University of Economics, Hebei Institute of Physical Education, Guangxi University, Beijing Normal University, Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education, Huaihua University, Beijing Sports University, and Xihua University. Participated in all 7 competition events. The Chinese university student delegation achieved the best results in the history of the World University Cheerleading Championships with 1 gold medal and 5 silver medals.

Wang Da, deputy secretary of the school party committee, serves as the leader of the Chinese college student delegation. The school team consists of 2 teachers and 20 students and participates in the mixed skills competition. On July 31, after the entire delegation arrived, Wang Da, head of the Chinese university student delegation and deputy secretary of the school party committee, made requirements for the team leader, coaching staff and all athletes in terms of anti-doping, in-game disciplinary requirements, in-game safety matters, etc. .During the competition, the cheerleading team of our hospital maintained a good competitive state. With the extraordinary tacit understanding of the team, they completed every skill coordination and showed their best skills on the world stage. They competed with style and level, and showed their talents to the world. It fully demonstrated the youthful style and competitive strength of Chinese college students in the new era.
