On the afternoon of October 21, 2024,Wang Li, Standing Committee of CPC & Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of HBUE led a team to Hubei Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd. to visit the company for job promotion. All members of the leadership team of the School of Sports Economics and Management participated in the inspection.

Wang Liangming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hubei Sports Industry Group, led the members of the group team to extend a warm welcome to Wang Li and the delegation. The two parties had in-depth discussions and exchanges, and visited the East Lake Sailing Base. Wang Liangming introduced the development history and current situation of Hubei Sports Industry Group.

Wang Li introduced the school’s history, school development, discipline construction and professional features, as well as the school’s “new finance and economics” reform results in accurately identifying changes, actively adapting to changes, and proactively seeking change under new situations and new challenges. She hopes that both parties can further promote school-enterprise cooperation in collaborative education and form a win-win situation for enterprises, schools and students. 

The two parties at the meeting had in-depth discussions and exchanges on matters such as jointly building a student internship training and innovation and entrepreneurship education base, students employment and entrepreneurship, temporary employment of young teachers, selection of industry mentors, and establishment of an industry-university-research service platform.
