From October 21st to October 31st, the 2024-2025 China University Futsal Football League (Men’s Southern District) was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang. Universities participating in this competition include: Beijing Sport University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Nanjing Aerospace There are 25 universities including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central South University, and Hunan Normal University. Most of the participating teams are traditional strong teams in college football across the country.

In the group stage, our school’s football team defeated Hunan Technology and Business University 4:3 and lost to Sichuan University 3:4, qualifying second in the group. In the knockout round, they defeated Chongqing Normal University and Donghua University with scores of 6:4 and 3:2 respectively, advancing to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals and the third and fourth place finals, they lost to Hunan Normal University and Central South University, and finally finished fourth in the Southern District. This competition created the best result in the history of our school’s football program in the national college football competition.

Under the leadership of coaches Zhang Cheng and Hu Jun, our school’s football team united as one, worked hard, overcame difficulties, and defeated many strong teams. It was well received by the organizing committee and won the Sportsmanship Award, Excellent Team Leader, and Excellent Coach. We have won honorary awards such as player and are qualified to participate in the 2024 National Finals. Let us look forward to the excellent performance of the school football team in the National Finals.
