In March 2021, the leisure sports major of our school was approved as a national first-class undergraduate major construction site.In order to further promote the high-quality development of leisure sports specialty, further clarify the path of specialty construction and break the bottleneck of specialty construction,on the afternoon of March 26, the school specially invited seven experts from the National College Physical Education Steering Committee, including Professor Qiu Tuan, Professor Chen Lei, Professor Hou Dehong, Professor Pu beijuan, Professor Peng Xinshe, Professor Zhao Junhao and Professor Liang Peigen to participate in the national first-class leisure sports undergraduate major construction forum held by our school.The meeting was presided over by Professor LAN Zili, dean of the school. Two vice deans Sun Lihai and Sun Hui, and representatives of key teachers attended the forum.

     At the meeting, vice dean Sun Lihai introduced the development situation, construction status ,construction path, advantages and bottlenecks of leisure sports major in our school. He hoped that experts attending the meeting could put forward more valuable suggestions.The experts fully affirmed the achievements of leisure sports major construction in our school .At the same time, they put forward new ideas and new measures of major construction from the first-class school orientation and concept, first-class curriculum, first-class teachers and first-class talent cultivation and other aspects. The participants spoke freely, the atmosphere was warm, and the expected effect was achieved.

        Finally, the dean LAN Zili made a concluding speech to thank the experts for their careful guidance and passing on their wisdom. He also said that the school would fully absorb the experts' insights, relying on the support of HBUE's economic and management teaching resources and the development advantages of leisure sports major, unifying the thinking, clarifying the task, keeping pace with the times, and to successfully complete the construction task of national first-class major.
