On April 13-15th, 2023, the Youth Sports (College Student Group) and Martial Arts Competition of the 16th Hubei Provincial Games and the 13th Hubei Provincial College Student Games were held at Yichang Three Gorges University.

Our student Xie Jiya achieved good results in this competition, ranking fifth in the women's second group (professional group) in selecting Tai Chi Boxing and sixth in the women's second group (professional group) in selecting Tai Chi Sword.

As the largest, highest standard, and most competitive comprehensive sports event in Hubei Province, our school's athletes faced numerous high-level professional athletes, bravely facing challenges and persevering.

During the break of the competition, the accompanying instructor provided psychological counseling and technical summary to the athletes who did not achieve rankings. After the competition, he encouraged the team members to establish new training goals and strive to create new achievements. The school adheres to the combination of both in and out of class and in school practical education, advocating for practice, practicality, and practical work, and cultivating talents with the Three Possessions and Three Realities. This competition not only provided students with higher quality learning experiences, but also brought new experiences and consolidates correct values.
