At 2:30 p.m. on September 16, the 215 conference room of our college was full of seats. In order to let the freshmen understand the running situation of our college and adapt to the university life as soon as possible, the college invited the freshmen and their parents to have face-to-face communication and interaction with all the leaders of the party and government leading group, the heads of departments and the head teachers of each freshman class. The meeting was presided over by the director of the comprehensive office.

President Hu Wei first delivered a welcome speech at the meeting to welcome the parents of the 2020 freshmen to the meeting and congratulated the freshmen on their admission to the Accounting School of Hubei University of economics. Then, he introduced in detail the school running situation of the accounting college from eight aspects: a strong teaching team, a first batch of national first-class majors, a professional master's program, a provincial think tank platform, an international project center, a number of important research results, a diversified practical teaching platform, and a widely recognized department.
