Our students won the final prize of 2018 CGMA business elite international challenge north Asia competition

On September 17, the final of 2018 CGMA business elite international challenge north Asia division was held in Beijing central university of finance and economics.The competition has been held since 2008 by the royal institute of chartered management accountants (CIMA) and is the second time since the establishment of the international association of certified professional accountants (AICPA|CIMA).

The competition aims to provide a high-level international arena, explore and cultivate outstanding business characteristics of college students, integrate their knowledge, expand their competitiveness in the workplace, and explore more business leaders who can lead the future development of society.

This year, nine teams from the Chinese university of Hong Kong, macau university of science and technology, Taiwan chengchi university, Kyoto university, hubei university of economics, central university of finance and economics, Northeastern University of finance and economics, zhejiang university of finance and economics and guangdong normal university of technology reached the finals.

The finalists will conduct case studies and reports on the business operation of Ashworth Lea cars within the specified time limit.Contestants use English to analyze the profit and loss of new cars on the market, draw up business plans, allocate planning staff, practice corporate social responsibility, and accept questions from judges.

The difficulty of the GBC competition case is comparable to the real CIMA exam. It comprehensively examines the contestants' comprehensive abilities in finance, marketing, marketing and management, which not only helps the teams improve their competitiveness, but also builds a bridge for enterprises to reserve cadres.
