On November 23, Professor Long Lirong from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) was a guest at Canglong Forum (Lecture 20, 2021) and delivered an academic lecture with the theme of “Thoughts and experiences on topic Selection innovation of Science Fund” in the conference room of Accounting School. Xu Zhiyong, vice dean of the School of Accounting, host the meeting. Dean Hu Wei, some teachers and postgraduate students attended the forum.

Professor Long Lirong gave an in-depth explanation from four aspects: application criteria, innovative thinking methods, application and writing experience, and evaluation and sharing. This paper elaborates the secret book of fund report writing, and provides ideas for teachers in our school to write reports.

Finally, professor Long provided many suggestions for teachers to apply for national projects based on his own experience in reviewing national projects.
