From October 25 to 27, the school of art and design is composed of four teachers, i.e. AI Zhuo, Jiang Kang, Du Wei, Ma Lan, and seven students, including Xiang Yuanjia. Under the leadership of the school, it participated in the PK of 72 hours workshop of the 2019 Wuhan International maker Art Festival. In the workshop, students and teachers participated in the creative activities. 72 hour workshop has 13 teams from 10 universities including Wuhan University of technology, central China Normal University, Hubei Academy of fine arts and so on. They create 72 hours of on-site works in the same space, with the theme of combining science and technology with art to create original works. In three days, teachers and students in Colleges and universities combined their own research and practice, and fully combined VR, holographic projection, photoelectric induction system, infrared sensing device and other scientific and technological elements with art creation to create a audio-visual art space full of sense of technology and design.

During the workshop, the original August strong God image of Dao Shang Art + team attracted much attention. Its design inspiration came from August strong God in the Chu silk book December God. The ancient god image was visualized with modern methods, supplemented by simple three primary color matching, 3D printing and three-dimensional presentation, and the interaction with people was realized by adding induction devices. The main creative teacher of Dao Shang Art + has been engaged in the research on the integration and innovation of culture, art and science and technology, hoping to promote and develop the traditional culture better.
