（Correspondent :Hongfei）From May 29th to 30th, 2021, the New Liberal Arts·New Arts International Symposium was held at the Tanhualin campus of the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. Our teacher Hongfei Wang was invited to give a keynote speech.

This seminar was sponsored by Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and Hubei Literary Critics Association. The conference mainly revolved around cultivating talents through literature, educating people through aesthetics, as well as subject reorganization, the intersection of arts and sciences, the integration of new technologies, the cross-discipline integration, and the realization of value sharing, etc. Start a discussion in this regard. Experts participating in the meeting tried to respond to actual needs from the academic level, and achieve a theoretical breakthrough in the construction of new liberal arts and new arts.

Previously, the seminar had collected papers nationwide on themes such as the construction of the aesthetic education system of New Liberal Arts·New Arts , the construction of New Liberal Arts·New Arts  majors and courses, and the cultivation of New Liberal Arts·New Arts  compound talents. Our college teacher Hongfei Wang's thesis Poeticity and Education: Contemporary Value of Arts and Crafts in the Context of New Liberal Arts Construction was selected, and was invited to give a keynote speech at the New Liberal Arts·New Arts Aesthetic Education System Construction Session. Teacher Hongfei Wang interpreted the development process of arts and crafts from the perspectives of traditional crafts technology, culture, human knowledge forms, and the evolution of philosophical concepts. He believed that arts and crafts were deeply influenced by philosophical concepts, science and technology, and consumer culture. Arts and crafts in the new era Should return to the original intention of education and education, create cultural experience with sensibility and poetry, and complete the historical mission of educating, transforming, and beautifying people with beauty.
