The Biennale of Ceramic Works in Western China has been successfully held for six times. In the course of more than ten years of development, its radiation range, exhibition scale, academic height, and work quality have become an influential cultural brand in China's ceramic art culture circle. Yang Yang's award-winning work Forty Years of Reform and Opening Up-The Vessel of People's Dreams was created in 2019. It uses super-realistic ceramic sculptures to show people's travels since the reform and opening up. It shows the great changes in the past 40 years from a micro perspective.
