News from this website (Correspondent: Luo Ying) On July 30th, the on-site competition of the Hubei Provincial Finals of the Ninth China International Internet+ College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded at Hubei University of Technology. Our college's project, “Walking Upwards - Measuring the Power of Culture with Every Step”, won the Bronze Award, and the project,”Dawn Plan - Panoramic Intelligent Navigation System Design and Research under the Background of Internet+”, received the Bronze Award in the 6th Hubei I Dream of Chu Tian Maker Competition.

Faculty and students from our college actively participated in this competition, with a total of more than 80 entries. After the preliminary selection in the school competition, 31 teams from the college won gold, silver, and bronze awards in the school competition. Three teams advanced to the school competition finals through on-site roadshows and defense, achieving real-time rankings.

In recent years, the Art and Design College has taken the Internet+ competition as a breakthrough point, creating a competition system with key support and hierarchical guidance. The college encourages entrepreneurial teams to build platforms and enhance faculty teams around the competition, continuously optimizing resource allocation. The competition has played a positive role in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education, advancing practical teaching reform, and strengthening the integration of industry, academia, and research. Participation in the competition has stimulated students' interest and potential in innovation and entrepreneurship, fostering innovative consciousness, creative thinking, entrepreneurial ability, and teamwork collaboration skills while producing ongoing innovative and entrepreneurial achievements.
