On May 12th, the opening ceremony of the second Tangsun Lake Arts Education Festival took place. University leaders including Fang Jie, Wang Da, Lu Xiaocheng, Zhang Guoan, Fu Hong, Wang Li, and Xu Chuanhua, as well as Zhu Mingjian, President of the Hubei Provincial Arts Education Research Association, attended the opening ceremony. Representatives from the Jiangxia District Education Bureau and universities in the Tangsun Lake area also participated.

University President Fang Jie announced the opening of this year's Arts Education Festival. Vice President Fu Hong delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the richness and profound significance of the festival. He stressed the combination of theory and practice, the unity of knowledge and action, the inheritance of Chinese outstanding traditional culture, the integration of art and technology, and the participation and innovation of the public.

Professor Zhu Mingjian pointed out that art education activities are important ways to discover, appreciate, create, and disseminate beauty. The series of activities at the Tangsun Lake Arts Education Festival have played an important role in art education.

Organized by the University's Arts Education and Research Office and the School of Art and Design, the festival will last for one month and includes activities such as Immersive Arts Education in Schools, Immersive Arts Education in Kindergartens, and Arts Education Salons. The aim is to deepen the art education policy of educating people with art, beautifying people with art, and cultivating excellence with art. Through large-scale public art interactive experiences and activities related to the inheritance of national intangible cultural heritage, the festival seeks to further promote outstanding traditional Chinese culture and create a brand for art education in the university.
