From August 3 to August 5, 2022, Hubei University of Economics, together with Dangyang Municipal Bureau of Economy, Information and Commerce, carried out a survey on the commercial system in order to fully understand the development status of the commercial system in urban areas and villages and towns of Dangyang City, and scientifically prepare the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" and later stage commercial system development plan. Leng Kaijun, deputy dean of the School of Business Administration, Chen Jinbo, deputy dean of the School of Business Administration, Liu Wei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, professor Bi Ya, associate professor Pan Lin, associate professor Qian Ling, Meng Qingguo, Jiang Yue and six undergraduates of the Institute participated in the survey.
Dangyang Municipal Government Office and Dangyang Economic Informatization and Commerce Bureau strongly supported this work, and assigned relevant responsible persons to lead our teachers and students to visit local business departments and surrounding towns. On August 3, all the staff participating in the survey gathered at Dongfang International Hotel in Dangyang City and officially started their work. The survey was conducted from three sub district offices, seven towns and relevant departments. The survey work was divided into urban group and township group at the same time: the urban group visited three sub district offices in combination with personnel from relevant departments, and four students searched in commercial centers, commercial streets, large and medium-sized commercial retail outlets, and professional markets; The township group followed Chief Huang of the Bureau of Economic Informatization and Commerce to the surrounding seven towns to interview the business situation of the township, and two students accompanied to record the interview content. On August 5, the investigators sorted out and archived the collected data and assisted in improving the first draft of the Business System Construction Plan of Dangyang City. Our participants have successfully completed this research and have returned to the university for follow-up summary.
