Our teachers participated in the CMAU national college students' market research and business planning competition teacher training


        In order to implement the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Reform of the Construction of University Teachers in the New Era and the essence of the document, strengthen the professional construction of our faculty, better help the instructors of the participating teams to understand the contest and related enterprise propositions more comprehensively, and help the students to complete the topic selection, analysis points, market research and business plan writing, the contest organizing committee will hold a teacher training from August 5 to August 8, 2022. Ye Min, Deputy Dean of School of Business Administration, organized teachers to participate in this training.




        This teacher training is specially created for the CMAU City Strategy Competition. Professor Jing Fengjie from the Marketing Research Association of Chinese Colleges and Universities, Associate Professor Fei Hongping, Deputy Secretary, and outstanding doctoral teachers Yao Kai and Ma Long from Peking University and Nanyang University of Technology in Singapore are invited to give lectures, and guests from the industry are invited to share their experiences. Up to now, more than 60 enterprises have contacted the organizers of the competition and submitted enterprise propositions. The content covers catering, food, clothing, home furnishing, medicine, daily necessities, e-commerce live broadcast and other industries. This teacher training&enterprise proposition introduction was conducted through online live broadcast, with 29000 participants and 18800 praise points, and 1922 discussion area exchanges and interactions, which received warm responses.





      The teacher training content includes five parts, including the competition guidance training session, the market research teaching and research ability promotion session, the market research practical ability promotion session, the data analysis ability and teaching promotion session, and the enterprise proposition presentation. The first part is the special session for the guidance of the competition (to assist students in selecting topics and guiding points for market research); The second part is a special session on market research, teaching and research capabilities. Professor Ma Long, Ph.D. of Nanyang University of Technology in Singapore, associate professor of Zhejiang Industrial and Commercial University, and senior consultant of Credamo Digital CDC Research Institute, introduced CMAU teaching and training platform and intelligent research platform; The third part is a special session on market research practical ability. Mr. Liu Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Dazheng Market Research Co., Ltd. and Director of Marketing Science Department, Mr. Duan Yongliang, Director of Yilueming Digital Strategy Transformation, Mr. Wang Sai, CEO consultant, author of "Five Lines of Growth" and management partner of Kotler Consulting, carried out practical sharing around digital marketing and business planning; The fourth part is a special session for improving data analysis ability level teaching. Professor Yao Kai, deputy director of the competition executive committee, founder of Credamo, and assistant professor of the School of Business of CUFE, explained the basics of R language, R language statistical modeling, web crawler and natural language processing, and R language curriculum design; The fifth part is the presentation of enterprise proposition. The responsible persons of 29 enterprise proposition presented and explained their enterprise proposition and key points of project report writing to teachers and students.
