In June 2024, the higher education professional evaluation agency Soft Science officially released the "2024 Soft Science China University Professional Ranking", with each major publishing the top 50% ranked universities, and a total of 31414 professional points from 1103 universities listed. There are 1781 majors from 60 universities in Hubei province on the list, with an increase in both the number of universities and majors compared to last year. Among them, there are 103 A+ majors, 328 A majors, 664 B+ majors, and 686 B majors. The number of top majors (A+) ranks fourth in the country. All six majors currently offered by our institution for recruiting students are on the list.

Among the 48 majors on the list, our Marketing, Logistics Management, and Supply Chain Management majors are rated as B+, while Business Administration, Human Resources Management, and Engineering Management majors are rated as B, an increase of one B+level major compared to the previous year.

The Soft Science China University Major Ranking is the largest undergraduate major ranking in China, covering the largest number of majors and the largest scale of participating majors to date. The ranking targets majors with no less than 4 schools, totaling 627. Each major publishes the top 50% ranked universities, with a total of 31414 majors from 1103 universities listed. In addition, majors with less than 4 schools will be classified as "characteristic majors", but the ranking will not be calculated. There are a total of 183 characteristic majors, involving 284 major points from 153 universities.
