On the morning of June 5th, the College of Business Administration held an online conference on graduates of class 2020 to make arrangements for their employment and returning to school. Party secretary Cao Lihe, Executive vice principal Dai Huayong, and all advisors and counselors of graduating classes attended the conference. Deputy Party secretary Li Yong presided over the conference.

At the meeting, the persons concerned circulated the contents of the university’s special conference on the work of graduates; circulated the notice of the employment situation of the graduates, policies on job opportunity recommendation award; and made arrangements for graduate employment. All advisors of graduating classes reported on the specific situation of students' employment. Deputy Party secretary Li Yong pointed out that June was a golden month for students' employment. It was necessary to guide students' employment for different categories, grasp the accurate situations of students’ employment, implement targeted measures to provide employment assistance, promote students' employment in an all-round way, and strive to achieve the employment goals before the designated time node. All class advisors and counselors should make concerted efforts to promote students’ employment.

Principal Dai Huayong pointed out that this year's employment situation was extremely severe due to the limited job opportunities and tremendous difficulties in employment. As a result, all class advisors and counselors must help students analyze the economic and employment situations, provide more targeted employment guidance, strengthen psychological care for students, make good preparations for graduates returning to school, and ensure that they would return to school safely and graduate smoothly.

Finally, Party secretary Cao Lihe said that in the face of the tremendous impact of the pandemic and the grim employment situation, all the teachers and other staff of the college should attach greater importance to students’ employment, grasp the real situations, overcome difficulties, prioritize the task of promoting students’ employment, make concerted efforts to promote students’ employment, adopt correct working methods, take practical and effective measures to offer targeted and precise assistance, strictly fulfill job responsibilities, and ensure that graduates would graduate smoothly and find jobs quickly.

At the meeting, the person concerned made arrangement for the work related to graduates’ returning to school and emphasized the matters needing attention in graduates’ returning to school.
