On the afternoon of March 27, 2025, at 15:00 in Room 412 of Qunxian Building, Professor Zhang Xuan, a professor and doctoral supervisor from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law of Finance and Economics, was invited to the Zanglong Forum to deliver an academic lecture titled "Writing and Publishing High-Level International English Journal Articles: Strategies and Experience Sharing" for the faculty and students of our school. The lecture was presided over by Vice Dean Qian Ling, with representatives of faculty and students attending the event.
During the lecture, Professor Zhang Xuan, drawing on her extensive practical experience and specific cases, provided an in-depth analysis of the core elements and publication strategies for high-level international English journal articles. She emphasized that such articles must not only meet academic and innovative standards but also ensure precise alignment between theoretical frameworks and empirical models. Professor Zhang Xuan elaborated on how to select appropriate journals based on the characteristics of one's research area and shared methods for avoiding common pitfalls in the submission process. She highlighted that understanding the key concerns of reviewers is crucial for successful publication, while effectively addressing reviewers' comments is an essential step in enhancing academic influence.
Combining her experience in corporate consulting, Professor Zhang Xuan also discussed how to integrate practical operational issues with academic research, further emphasizing the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in operations management. She humbly acknowledged the gaps that still exist in her own academic research and encouraged the audience to maintain a modest learning attitude, face challenges bravely, and continuously improve their academic standards.
Professor Zhang Xuan's sharing provided the faculty and students with valuable insights into writing and publishing, and also ignited their enthusiasm and interest in academic research.
