Our school held a communication meeting on ACBSP professional certification work


On March 7, 2023, the ACBSP professional certification work communication meeting was held at Room 412, Qunxian Building. Professor Peng Yan and data analyst Xu Bingqing from the ACBSP China Office shared the working process and certification standards of ACBSP professional certification at the School of Business Administration. Li Zhengwang, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, visited to guide professional certification. The Dean of the School of Business Administration, Leng Kaijun, Secretary Che Chunxian, Deputy Secretary Liu Wei, Deputy Dean Ye Min, Director of the Logistics Management Department, Wang Lihong,counsellor Zhu Tianzhen, Yang Sha, and Teaching Secretary Zheng Xinyi all attended this meeting.


At the meeting, Peng Yan explained the importance of ACBSP certification for school development, which not only benefits the accumulation of knowledge assets, but also improves the quality of teaching projects, teacher development, and graduate evaluation. For higher education institutions, certification can enhance their professional competitiveness, enrollment competitiveness, employment competitiveness, and further education competitiveness. In this regard, Dean Leng Kaijun of our school stated that he will attach great importance to this certification work. Subsequently, Xu Bingqing proposed that the characteristic of ACBSP professional certification is no longer limited to using exam scores as the sole evaluation criterion. Teachers should focus on improving the attractiveness of the classroom and the applicability of teaching knowledge. Finally, Director Li, Dean Leng, and Dean Ye discussed the process management of professional certification with Teacher Peng and Teacher Xu to further understand the process and requirements of ACBSP certification work. Finally, Dean Leng and Dean Ye of our school stated that our school will steadily promote certification work in accordance with the work plan formulated for the 2022-2023 academic year.
