On June 4, 2023, the 9th National BIM Graduation Design Innovation Competition for Higher Education Institutions came to a perfect end in an eight month intense competition. Under the guidance of teachers such as Ni Yanling, Huang Ge, Zhang Xianzhe, Jiang Li, Cheng Shi, Wu Jianhua, and Wang Shuqi from the Engineering Management Department, eight teams representing the Intelligent Construction Center of Hubei University of Economics, including the "ICC Zhiyuan" team, the "ICC Diligence" team, the "ICC Star Dream" team, and the "ICC Tianqian Tongtu" team, won one national special prize, one first prize, five second prizes, and one third prize. Among them, the "ICC Zhiyuan" team from the Smart Construction Center won the National Special Award for B Module Mechanical and Electrical Design; The "ICC Effort" team won the first prize in the country.

This competition is organized by the Construction Market and Bidding Research Branch of the Chinese Civil Engineering Society and Guanglianda Technology Co., Ltd. It is a Class A university student subject competition designated by the Ministry of Education. Since its launch in October 2022, a total of 584 universities and 5682 teams have signed up, with over 30000 teachers and students participating. 4194 works have been submitted, and 419 teams have competed in the national finals. The winning teams in this competition are all students majoring in engineering management at our school. The competition not only provides a platform for students to learn, communicate, and showcase each other, but also cultivates their understanding of digital modeling. The competition results demonstrate the excellent comprehensive quality level of our students, fully demonstrating the educational effectiveness of our school's engineering major construction. Only through hard work can one gain, and only through hard work can one gain. Scholars in the academy must continue to work hard and write a new chapter.
