The event was hosted by Executive Vice President Dai. Teacher Xiongand Dai exchanged ideas on national issues. Dean Ma gave guidance and comments to them. Besides, The backbone teachers of the whole school discussed the contents of the report and provided opinions as well as support from different perspectives.

The two teachers, Xiong and Dai, shared the report form in turn. The theme of this issue is a basis for the project and the refinement of the research questions. Dean Ma gave detailed opinions respectively on both issues: the core research questions should not be too broad, and the theme should be closely followed; the target must be seized in the golden age, do not hesitate, miss the opportunity; the theory and significance of the background should be consistent with the research questions; the problem must be refined.

In response to some teachers' representatives’ question of how to turn ideas into topics, Dean Ma gave experience to the teachers by taking the experience report of the teachers who have successfully applied for the lectures as an example: the drafts should be constantly revised to show new meanings and values; there can not be only value and meaning, but no research questions. To establish a topic, it is important to identify which issues are important and learn to express them in academic language.
