On November 16 to 18, 2018, the 2018 (17th) China Logistics Academic Annual Conference hosted by China LogisticsAssociation, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing was held in Jiangxi province. More than 1,000 representatives including nationwide academic field of the logistics industry as well as the industry and localgovernment departments attended the meeting.
At the official beginning of the conference, He, the president of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and also the president of the China Logistics Associationdelivered a speech. Yuan, secretary of the Gao'an Municipal Committee of Jiangxi Province also make an address. He, the executive vice president of China Logistics Association; Cai, the vice president of China Logistics Association, the director of Expert Committee of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing; Dai, the director of China Logistics Association Expert Committee; Wang, the senior political research director of China North Industries Corporation; Yun, the director of Operations of Tianjin DeLiSupply Chain Management hosted the 17th General Assembly, Wang, the director of the Comprehensive Transportation Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, Jing, the dean of the China Society for Social Science Evaluation, and Long, the deputy director of the Development Research Center of the State Council; Wang, the director of the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of the China (Shenzhen) Comprehensive Development Research Institute; Prof.Zhen, the associate dean of the school of management of Shanghai University and Zhou, the president of Haier Group gave keynote speeches.
On the morning of the 18th, the annual meeting set up 15 special sub-forums, in which the deputy dean of our school, Dr. Kai, gave a keynote speechin the topic of rural logistics and cold chain logistics, with the title of “Hubei Province Supply Chain Innovation and Development Research”. He introduced to the participants the relevant work and problems encountered by the research team centered on Ma as the core of the province's supply chain innovation in the past two years, and also had in-depth exchanges withthe director of the research center, Chu, the chief consultant Professor Tao Juncheng, Bi, Dr. Pan Lin and scholars from various fields in China.
In addition, a total of 763 comments were received at the annual meeting. After experts’ review and publicity, 307 awards were finalized, including 8 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 158 third prizes and 127 excellent prizes. Leng, Bi, Jing, and Fu's paper "A Study on Agricultural Supply Chain System Based on Double-Chain Framework Block Chain" won the third prize of the 17th China Logistics Academic Annual Conference Award-winning Paper.
The China Logistics Academic Annual Conference is an annual academic conference hosted by the China Logistics Association and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. It has been held once a year since 2002 and is an important platform for China's logistics industry to combine production, study and research, also in exchanges for ideas at home and abroad. The main tasks of the annual meeting are: review and summarize the new progress of the annual logistics research, display new achievements, study new trends, establish regular contact and collaborative research mechanisms for logistics research institutions, and determine the basic ideas and priorities of logistics research in the next year.
