On October 22nd, the founding ceremony of the college alumni association and the first alumni representative conference were successfully held in Room 412 of Qunxian Building. Song Jian, Director of the School Cooperation Development Department, Director of the Alumni Office, Secretary General of the Education Development Foundation, Jiang Shenhong, Deputy Director of the Cooperation Development Department and Deputy Director of the Alumni Office, members of the college leadership team, representatives of college teachers, and more than 80 alumni representatives from various years attended the meeting in a combination of online and offline formats. The meeting was chaired by Che Chunxian, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Business Administration of HBUE.

He pointed out that under the correct leadership of the school and the support of alumni, the School of Business Administration has achieved significant results in professional construction, teaching staff, scientific research achievements, and talent cultivation. The original intention of establishing an alumni association in the college is to serve alumni, moisten their hearts and warm their hearts, and is committed to building a platform for communication, mutual trust, mutual assistance, and networking for alumni, providing thoughtful services for alumni to "go home" to visit relatives and discuss "family matters" together; To gather consensus and resonate with the same frequency, with the school motto of "being virtuous and knowledgeable, benefiting the people" and the college motto of "practical innovation, cooperative responsibility" as the source of strength, to gather the wisdom of alumni, build a community of development, struggle, and destiny between alumni and the college, and achieve high-quality development of the college's cause and high personal growth and progress of alumni.
Li Yuantao, representative of 2008 alumni and general manager of Wuhan Zhongshang Xudong Parity Plaza Co., Ltd., and Xiong Junfeng, representative of college teachers, delivered speeches successively. Liu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee, nominated the members of the College Alumni Association as directors, and after deliberation, they were elected as the first directors of the College Alumni Association. The meeting deliberated and voted to approve the Articles of Association of the School of Business Administration of Hubei University of Economics and the selection of honorary president, president, and secretary-general of the alumni association.
