A few days ago, the office of the leading Group for Talent work of the Hubei Provincial CPC Committee and the Hubei Provincial Department of Education announced the host list of “ Hubei famous teacher Studio” in 2018,and Professor Chuanhua Xu of our school was selected.
The selection shall be conducted in accordance with the assessment of teachers’ ethics、moral education、teaching lever、scientific research ability、guidance and training of teachers, and shall be carried out in accordance with the procedures of individual declaration, school evaluation and recommendation, provincial selection announcement, etc. In 2018, a total of 50 hosts of “Hubei famous teacher Studio” were selected in the province, including 25 from colleges and universities and 25 from secondary and below schools.
The famous teachers’ studio is hosted by well-known teachers who have worked in front-line posts for a long time and have a certain degree of social influence, and a group of excellent teachers with development potential as members: the studio performs the functions of“ leading, inheriting, innovating and sharing”. It is a teacher development community with the functions of teaching and scientific research, achievement radiation, professional development and so on. The purpose of the selection is to promote the transformation of teacher evaluation from“ rewording individuals” to“ motivating the team”, from“ setting an example” to“ promoting cooperation”, and to give full play to the banner effect of high-lever talents. Form a teacher development community and promote the construction of a contingent of teachers.
Chuanhua Xu, doctor of economics, second-class teacher, doctoral supervisor, advanced worker of financial education in China, expert who enjoys the special subsidy of the provincial government, candidate for the second level of Hubei Provincial High-level Talent Project in the New Century, financial consulting expert of the Financial and Economic Committee of Hubei Provincial people’s Congress, head of excellent young and middle-aged scientific and technological innovation team of colleges and universities in Hubei Provincial, the person in charge of provincial high-quality courses- ang provincial high-quality resource sharing courses, 100 excellent teachers from financial colleges and universities, and the first “ famous teacher” of Hubei Institute of Economics. He has presided over more then 20 research projects such as the National Social Science Foundation and the Social Science of Hubei Province. Three achievement won the excellent Achievement Award of philosophy and Social Sciences of Hubei Province, two achievement won the Outstanding Teaching Achievement Award of Colleges and Universities in Hubei Province, and four achievements won the Outstanding Achievement Award of Social Science in Wuhan.
