Associate Professor Tong Teng's paper was published in “Energy, Sustainability and Society”

Recently, the paper economic growth, energy consumption, and carbon dioxide emissions in the E7 countries: a bootstrap ARDL bound test ofassociate Professor Tong Teng, was published in energy, sustainability and society.

Methods: This research uses a recently developed Bootstrap autoregressive-distributed lag (ARDL) model with structural breaks to examine the co-integration and causality relations between economic growth, energy consumption, and CO2 emissions in E7 countries.

Conclusions: The results consistently show that energy consumption is the main cause of CO2 emissions, which has led to the emergence of global warming problems. Increases in CO2 emissions compel the E7 countries to develop sound policies on energy consumption and environmental pollution.

“Energy, Sustainability and Society” is a SCI Journal (JCR three districts) with only four issues per year. Associate Professor Tong Teng is the first author of this paper. The collaborators include Professor Xu ChuanHua and Associate Professor Li Fangzhi.
