Recently, the results of the 2020 MCM/ICM were announced. Our student team won 2 first prizes and 5 successful competitions. Among them, our students won 3 awards. Yue Gao of Jin Chuang Q1841 won the first prize; DiaoYingkun, Ding Fei and Chen Jiyao of Jin Chuang Q1741 won the first prize; Zhou Miaoyu of Finance Q1842 won the third prize; And Kong Wenting of Jin Chuang Q1841 won the third prize.

The MCM/ICM is the most influential competition in mathematical Modeling worldwide, organized by the American Federation of Mathematics and Its Applications. There are 6 questions in the contest. MCM has 3 questions, A is continuous, B is discrete, C is data, ICM has 3 questions, D is operational Research and Network science, E is environmental science and F is policy. The content of the competition involves many fields such as economy, management, environment, resources, ecology, medicine and safety. Participation way for the three students (undergraduate) as a group, in four days time, on the specified finish from the established model, solve and verify all the work to the thesis writing, ultimately selected prize (Outstanding Winner), special award nomination (Finalist), the first prize (Meritorious Winner), the second prize (Honorable Mentions), Successful participative prize (Successful Participants).
