On November 6, the 2021 "Guocai Cup" National English Writing and Reading Contest was successfully held in Hubei Division. Players from 67 universities in Hubei Province participated in the contest online. Two players from our college participated in the contest achieved excellent results. Gong Yuqi from Class Q1941 won the second prize in the reading competition, and Tang Ruiman from Class Q1941 won the third prize in the writing competition.

The writing competition and the reading competition were held in the morning and afternoon respectively. The competition lasted 150 minutes each. With its authority and professionalism, the "Foreign Research Institute · Guocai Cup" has been listed in the "China University Innovative Talent Training and Discipline Competition Ranking List" in the writing and reading competition. The results of the competition to promote teaching and education through competition continue to be recognized by the academic community.
