In order to implement the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council Several Opinions on Deepening the Reform and Innovation of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Schools in the New Era, deeply implement the Ministry of Education's Guidelines for Ideological and Political Construction in Colleges and Universities, and improve the ability and level of ideological and political teaching in teachers' courses, on the afternoon of November 3 , our institute held the Hubei University of Economics First Course Ideological and Political Teaching Competition Information Engineering School Preliminary Round in the J2-207 smart classroom. The competition invited the members of the teaching committee, the heads of departments and the teaching supervisors of the college to serve as judges, and all the faculty and staff of our school participated in this activity.
This competition was presided over by Ms. Song Ying, the head of the Department of Computer Science, she first emphasized the significance of this competition, introduced the rules and processes of the competition, and then Di Yi, Chen Ying, Shi Li, Hu Wen, Wang Zheng five teachers according to the order of drawing lots, respectively Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, General Physics, Database Principles and Applications, Computer Network, Operating System and other courses of a knowledge point, with solid theoretical foundation, diverse teaching methods, novel classroom teaching design. The teaching exhibition was carried out from the aspects of on-site teaching and curriculum ideological and political design, and a good spiritual outlook, high teaching level, and flexible curriculum ideological and political design and application were shown in the competition. Teacher Di Yi was at home due to the epidemic lockdown and conducted a teaching demonstration through Tencent Meeting online. After the teaching demonstration, Secretary Deng Zhihua commented on the performance of the five teachers and put forward suggestions for improvement.
