(Correspondent: Wang Bo) Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on the Findings of Projects of Research and Practice for New Speciality of Engineering . On the basis of the recommendation of the superiority of the subordinate universities, the provincial educational administrative departments, the teaching steering committees of science and technology majors and the associations of related industries (academies), it was evaluated by the communication and expert groups. 612 projects were identified as national-level new research and practice projects. Professor Sun Baolin of our school took the lead in declaring that Exploration and Practice of Computer Engineering Talents Training Model of Computer + Finance was selected as a Reform Project of New Science Specialty.
The Ministry of Education organizes the research and practice of new science and technology, aiming at promoting universities to further innovate the training path, improve the training system, accelerate the comprehensive reform of Engineering education, train new engineering and technical personnel with higher innovative and entrepreneurship capabilities and cross-border integration capabilities, in order to cope with the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. Challenges, to serve national innovation-driven development and major strategic implementation, and to accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading to provide strong talent support. It is reported that in February, April and June 2017, the Ministry of Education organized a new scientific research seminar, which formed the Fudan Consensus, Tianda Action and Beijing Guide for the construction of new science and technology, and constituted the trilogy for the construction of new science and technology.
The selection of the first batch of national project of Research and Practice for New Speciality of Engineering marks a good start in the construction and development of new subjects in our school, lays a solid foundation for the reform of new subjects in our school. In the future, the school will fully meet the requirements of new subjects construction, from the key factors of standards, specialties, classrooms and teachers, to reform. Talent training program as a grasp, fully implement the concept of international engineering education professional certification, promote cross-disciplinary integration and cross-border integration, promote the organic integration of science education, humanities education and engineering education, and effectively improve the quality of engineering talent training in our university.
