In the afternoon of April 19th, we invited Professor Li Layuan from Wuhan University of Technology to give an academic lecture titled “High Performance Network Computing: Cloud Computing, Fog Calculation and Edge Computing” in the conference room. The lecture was hosted by Professor Tian Hao, and more than 30 young teachers from the School of Information and communication Engineering listened to the lecture.
In this lecture, Professor Li Layuan combined with his own research interests to interpret the concepts, differences and connections of cloud computing, fog computing and edge computing. He introduced the future development of high performance computing, especially pointing out that edge computing can be further Seven entry points for conducting research. After the meeting, he also patiently answered some scientific research questions from young teachers, which pointed out the direction for teachers' scientific research.
Our teachers benefit a lot from the lecture and played a very good role in promoting the research work of our school.
