Our school held a symposium for young doctors

    

    On the afternoon of May 13, the School of Information Management and Statistics held a Party History Study and Education activity in the conference room A104, I do practical things for the masses young doctoral symposium. Members of the leadership team of the college, young doctors who have been employed since 2015, and representatives of outstanding teachers attended the symposium. Party Secretary Sun Jingyue presided over the meeting.


    At the meeting, Professor Liu Wenping, a Tenglong scholar from Hubei University of Economics and an outstanding representative who grew up from the “green pepper”, shared his experience in scientific research. He talked about doing academic research well, persisting, not shrinking when encountering difficulties, and learning to use fragmented time to think and research; to have high goals and the courage to compete with well-known universities and scholars; to have a sense of teamwork, More exchanges and cooperation with peers and the outside world; to maintain a good attitude, be able to settle down for learning; to seize opportunities, and quickly implement ideas when they have ideas. Teacher Xie Chengyi, a teaching supervisor of the college, who has been teaching for nearly 40 years and has rich teaching experience, shared his teaching experience with everyone. He said that teaching and scientific research are the two legs of university teachers. While attaching importance to scientific research, the importance of teaching must not be neglected. Teaching is the foundation of teachers. Young teachers must do a good job in teaching and take the stage. Stand firm, listen to more lectures, and learn more from experienced teachers.


    The teachers also conducted exchanges and discussions on the college's talent training, scientific research, teacher evaluation, teaching management, and talent incentive mechanism based on the difficulties and problems encountered in their work. The leaders of the college listened carefully to the opinions and suggestions put forward by the teachers.


    In the conclusion Jingyue Sun said that the college will carefully sort out the opinions and suggestions put forward by everyone, and take corresponding measures to actively work to solve them, so as to create a good atmosphere for the development of young doctors and create better conditions. She pointed out that young doctors are not only the new force of the college’s work, but also the backbone of the college’s future career development. I hope that the young doctors will have a long-term perspective, magnify the pattern, and spend time and energy to seriously study how to transform what they have learned into productivity. I hope that the teachers will grow up and develop as soon as possible, make achievements in teaching and scientific research, cultivate their own proud students, and have fruitful scientific research results. In addition, I hope that teachers can self-pressurize, position themselves and actively participate in other work of the college while devoting themselves to teaching and educating people and academic inquiry, so as to contribute their talents to the continuous high-quality development of the college.
