Kai Xiang，born in 1977, Associate Professor, received his MSc degree in Computer

Science from Huazhong Normal University in 2006, He is currently a PhD candidate 

majored in communications and information systems in school of computer , Wuhan 

University. His research interests involve in Information Recommendation System, 

Multimedia Information Processing and Communication. He has published more than twenty 

articles in domestic and international journals and conferences such as Wireless Networks,

Wuhan University journal of Natural Sciences, etc. He participated in writing one full- English 

book chapter, two textbooks, and three patents. He was in charge of seven foundation

projects including National Nature Science Foundation of China, The Humanities and Social Science 

Project of the Ministry of Education, Nature Science Foundation of Hubei Province, and Foundation 

of Department of Education of Hubei Province.
