Introduction to Economic System Simulation Institute
The Institute of Economic System Simulation of the School of Information Management and Statistics was established in early 2008. With the support of several leaders, after years of hard work, the original academic salon has developed into a research institution that can provide multi-domain policy analysis services. The Institute currently has 15 researchers, covering mathematics, statistics, economics, management, environmental science, computer science and other disciplines. It has extensive cooperation with many research institutions and undertakes more than ten vertical and horizontal projects. More than 20 papers. At present, the Institute conducts research and external cooperation mainly in the following directions: (1) Analysis of environmental economic policies. Evaluation of the impact of social and economic development on energy conservation and emission reduction, industrial structure optimization under emission reduction constraints, enterprise process transformation, product structure adjustment cost-benefit analysis, etc.; (2) Energy medium- and long-term planning demonstration. Predict social total energy demand and structural changes, structural optimization under environmental economic constraints; (3) Environmental health impact modeling. The impact of corporate poison emissions on the health of the surrounding population, the impact of regional air quality changes on the health of the population and the social costs brought about; (4) input-output model, the development of a general equilibrium model. Analyze the impact of fiscal policy, taxation policy, investment policy, and environmental policy on the social economy.
