Peng Ling introduced that since 2009, our school has been investigating the development and demand of e-commerce in rural areas of Hubei Province. Through 12 years of research, it has concluded that Hubei rural e-commerce has experienced three aspects: cognition, channels and practitioner status. The changes have also witnessed the great contribution made by rural e-commerce to the upward movement of agricultural products in Hubei Province and targeted poverty alleviation. Peng Ling pointed out that Hubei rural e-commerce still has typical problems such as weak branding operations, poor standardization of agricultural products, and ineffective promotion of the three-industry integration. He suggested speeding up the development of new business models and new models of rural e-commerce, and speeding up the promotion of rural e-commerce.
