On April 19th, our school participated in the virtual teaching and research activity online conference of statistics double 10,000 construction jointly held by Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and Henan University of Economics and Law.     This online seminar focused on the theme of Course Construction as the Core to Improve the Level of Professional Construction. Experts from our school and 26 financial and economic institutions including Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Beijing Technology and Business University, Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, and Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics Scholars jointly participated in the meeting to discuss the construction of first-class majors and first-class courses in statistics. Prof. Fang Xiangzhong, chairman of the Statistics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and Prof. Wang Rongming, vice-chairman and president of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, attended the meeting. This seminar aims to explore and establish a cross-regional joint teaching and discussion platform for statistics majors, realize the open sharing of teaching resources, innovative practice of talent training models, and further improve the professional teaching level and talent training quality.
