On November 17, 2018.The 2018 annual meeting and academic seminar of economic law research institute of hubei law society were held in Hubei University of Economics.This annual meeting is sponsored by the Economic Law Research Institute of Hubei Law Society, undertaken by the Law of School of Hubei University of Economics, and co-organized by the Economic Law Society of Central South University and Hubei Xingquan Law Firm.More than 100 leading guests, experts, scholars, young people and students from at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Changzhou University, South China University of Technology, Central China Normal University, China University of Geosciences, Zhongnan University for Nationalities, Huazhong Agricultural University, Hubei University of Economic Institute, Wuhan University of Engineering, the BOHAI University, the Hubei Provincial Higher People's Court, the Wuhan Municipal People's Government Legal Office, Chongqing Civil Law Economic Law Research Association ,HUBEI GREEN SPRING LAW FIRM and universities, research departments and judicial practice institutions inside and outside the province came to this conference for a one-day in-depth exchange and discussion on the theme of "review and prospect of economic law research in the new era".
The opening ceremony was presided by Lin Jingshan, party secretary of School of Law of Hubei University of Economics.The first speaker is Professor Qiu Qiu, dean of School of Law of Hubei University of Economics. Professor Qiu hopes that this year's annual meeting of economic law can contribute to the development of economic law in hubei province.Then Hu Chiping, the director of Hubei Law Society Research Association, delivered a speech. Hu spoke highly of the achievements made by the Society for Economic Law and hoped that Economic Law Research Society of Hubei Law Society would take a higher position in the future and make greater contributions to the development of economic law.Zhou Jiannian, vice President of Hubei Provincial Higher People's Court, said that the theoretical research results of Hubei Economic Law Society are rich and provide powerful intellectual support for the judicial work of Hubei province.Subsequently, civil and economic law research association in chongqing, southwest university of political science and law professor Xu Mingyue thanked Liu Dahong President and School of Law of Hubei University of EconomicsAt the end of the opening ceremony, Professor Liu Dahong, chairman of the Economic Law Research Association of Hubei Law Society and doctoral supervisor, warmly welcomed the leaders, experts, scholars, outstanding practitioners and young students participating in the conference by comparing "Flowers bloom season by season, while people get older year by year".Professor Liu Dahong, who is also the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hubei University of Economics, introduced the relevant conditions of running a school, personnel training, campus environment and so on. On behalf of the school, he once again expressed his sincere thanks to all the participants；as the president of the Economic Law Research Association of the Hubei Law Society, President Liu said that he should always adhere to the leadership of the Hubei Law Society and carry out related work under the guidance of the Hubei Law Society.In response to the four issues of the annual meeting, President Liu Dahong combined with the relevant theories of economic law and the reality of China's current economic law, expressed deep concern about the development of economic law in the socialist rule of law environment with Chinese characteristics.Professor Liu Dahong’s speech was sincere, humorous, unique, and insightful, and was highly praised by the participants.
At 10:30 in the morning, the meeting entered the keynote stage. The speech stage was presided over by Sun Guangyan, deputy dean of the School of Law of Central South University for Nationalities and doctoral supervisor. Dr. Yiyi from Wuhan University, Associate Professor Guan Bin from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Associate Professor Hou Zhuo from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Professor Tian Kaiyou from Shiliang Law School of Changzhou University, Associate Professor Yin Jiguo from South China University of Technology, Associate Professor of Law School of Hubei University of Economics, and Teacher of Huazhong Agricultural University Dr. Duan Honglei made a speech on the relevant topics of this meeting. What’s more,Prof. Ning Lizhi from Wuhan University Law School gave a wonderful comment on the keynote speeches of the seven speakers. The angles are novel, the viewpoints are concise and brilliant.
The afternoon meeting was held in two venues around the four themes of the annual meeting. The academic atmosphere of the conference was strong. The theoretical and practical circles expressed their views and discussed the review and prospect of the basic theoretical research of economic law since the fortieth anniversary of reform and opening up. The review and prospects since the tenth anniversary of the implementation of the Anti-Monopoly Law, the research on the institutional reform of the State Council from the perspective of economic law, and the study of the economic rule of law in the construction of the Free Trade Zone in Hubei Province, etc., are the frontier issues in the field of economic law. The innovation of practical work actively contributed ideas and suggestions, and brought a rich academic feast to the participant.
After the discussion of the venue, under the auspices of Professor Xu Chengguang, the vice president of the Institute of Ecological Civilization of Wuhan University of Engineering, he entered the closing stage of the conference. Participants at the first session of the conference, Li Nian, deputy director of HUBEI GREEN SPRING LAW FIRM, and the second session of the venue, Zhong Yongqiang, associate professor of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, reported to the conference on the discussion of the venue. Subsequently, Dr. Duan Honglei, Academic Director of the Economic Law Research Association of the Provincial Law Society, reported the summary of the papers submitted at the annual meeting and the awarding work. Professor Qiu Qiu of the School of Law of Hubei University of Economics, Secretary Lin Jingshan, Vice President Xu Chengguang of Wuhan University of Engineering, Professor Ning Lizhi of Wuhan University, and President Liu Dahong announced the awards of the papers and awarded the winners. Finally, President Liu Dahong announced that the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Economic Law Research Association of the Hubei Law Society will be jointly organized by the Economic Law Research Association of the Hubei Law Society and the Chongqing Civil Law Economic Law Research Association. So far, the 2018 annual meeting and academic seminar of the Economic Law Research Association of Hubei Law Society has come to an end.
