(Correspondents: Li Jun, Jiang Weizhe) At 6 pm on May 12, 2019, The Law School held a “Twenty years of rooted grassroots, the shining road to youth”-Liu Zhonghai's Advanced Deeds Report Meeting in the Library Moral lecture hall.Professor Qiu,Dean of the School of Law,98th outstanding alumnus Wang Wei, Zuo Xin,Yang Xuejian,Liu Huisheng, the teachers’ representatives and all the students attended the report.
Liu Zhonghai is a graduate of the 98th Commercial Law Department of Hubei University of Economics. He is a judge of the People’s Court of Xuanhuadian People’s Court of Dawu County. He was awarded the “First Class” and “Second Class” by the Provincial High Court, and the “Advanced Worker of the Year” of the County Court and Party Group. The “Special Award for the Passage of the Examination” and the “Top Ten Case Handling Experts” of the County Political and Legal Committee, the Provincial High Court and the Provincial Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security “Excellent Judge of the Province” and other honorary titles.
Subsequently, Judge Liu Zhonghai took the stage to share his own deeds.First of all, he expressed his gratitude to his Alma Mater.Thanks for his Alma Mater, thanks for the teacher, and for the cultivation of the Alma Mater and the teacher, he has always been grateful and proud ,and wished his Alma Mater a better future,the students a bright future.Then he reported on his work at the grassroots level in five aspects.In the part of “Let the French to be incorporated into the folk customs”, he interprets the internal contradictions of the people in a way that blends emotions. In the part of let each case promote justice, he seeks truth and pragmatism so that every party who are willing to obey the judgment of the court. In the part of “Let make a sense of integrity”, he has won the good reputation in the hearts of the people with his own law and unconstrained temperament;In highlighting the judicial responsibility, he made a statement on the scene and explained the legal knowledge to the people; he insisted on learning and making progress, focusing on summing up experience from trial practice and becoming a “legal step forward”,a role model for peers.
After Liu Zhonghai’s report, alumnus Wang Wei encouraged the law school students to grasp the beautiful youth time, start from small things, enhance their sense of responsibility.Alumnus Liu Huisheng talked about Liu Zhonghai's integration of legal conditions, human feelings and affairs. He is impartial in law enforcement, judicature for the people and the rejection of human cases is an example for every legal person to learn.Finally, the 98th class teacher Professor Qiu took the stage to express the excitement of the alumnus returning to school. She said that everything is going well and everyone is making progress , and Zhicheng Linghua, in the past 20 years, the old ignorant teenagers have grown into the mainstay of society. Alumnus are always the Alma Mater's most valuable asset and the most reliable partner which guide the students to learn from the example to have lofty ideals, apply the knowledge learned to the real life,concentrate on learning and achieve something.Finally, all the guests took a group photo.
The hard-working life is a life without regrets. Not only this advanced deeds sharing meeting makes the students know and understand what a good alumnus is, but also can be proud of .Moreover,the sharing meeting had an effect on the students of the law school making their missions more clear-cut and striving to become a good person as same as Liu Zhonghai so that they will make a contribution to their regretless youth and throw themselves into the progress of the judicial cause.
