On the afternoon of April 1, 2024, the Auditorium No. 3 of the University Student Activity Center was filled with students for a lecture session on Colorful Summer Study in France: Cooking and Culture. In particular, Mr. Peng Chen from the French Culinary School Pincourt aimed to give a lecture to introduce the students to the upcoming three-and-a-half-week study tour in July 2024.

    At the lecture, the French representative introduced in detail the schedule, study content and language communication methods of the study tour program. Students will have the opportunity to experience the cultural charm of Perigue, Bordeaux and Paris, and learn more about traditional French cooking. In addition, the project will also provide an English learning environment with Chinese translation to ensure that students can communicate without barriers.

    This study tour will not only allow students to enjoy the French gastronomy culture, but also enhance their international vision and cross-cultural communication skills, which will be a rare opportunity for learning and growth. At the end of the lecture, the French representative also made a brief explanation of the students' concerns about study tour costs and safety issues, and said that the college will provide all-round protection for students.
