President Delegation from Swinburne University of Technology visited our university

 

 

 

On September 15th, Vice President He Huigang met with four visiting guests from Swinburne University of Technology. Among the guest in attendance was Executive Vice President Jenelle Kyd and Vice President Jeffery Smart. Also participating in the meeting were the heads of our International Exchange & Cooperation Department, the School of International Education, the School of Finance and School of Accounting.

On behalf of the university,He Huigang welcomed our guests he spoke for a few minutes about the university’s interests in the cultivation of academic professionals, scientific research and international collaboration. Vice President He said that the joint education project between our two universities has enjoyed good momentum in its development and has had an increasingly positive reputation since it began in 2011. Vice President He expressed his hope that together the two universities could both deepen and expand the breadth of focus of cooperation in the future.

Jenelle Kyd thanked Vice President He for the university’s warm reception and she gave a brief introduction ofSwinburne University of Technology. Kyd said that the cooperative education programs in finance and accounting between the two universities had made great achievements and she hopes that both sides can continue working together to ensure the quality of the project and promote its sustainable development. Mr. Smart also shared his favorable views with our school on the joint education program.

The delegation also met with students who participated in the program. He Huigang encouraged students to dream big, develop good study habits, and to improve their competitiveness in the international marketplace by making professional connections, applying themselves in their studies and developing a diversified set of talents and acquired skills.
