On May 16th, the delegation led by Chea Kosal, State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of the Kingdom of Cambodia (at the vice-ministerial level), visited our university. Gao Yiyong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Fu Hong, Vice-President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in our university, met the guests.
Gao Yiyong extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Chea Kosal. He introduced the university's history, academic disciplines, professional programs, talent cultivation and social services, with a particular focus on the international promotion of the Chu Cuisine Research Institute, vocational talent training, and the achievements of policy communication and educational connection with the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative. Gao Yiyong expressed the hope that both sides would take this opportunity to launch all-round and multi-level cooperation in areas such as vocational skills training, international Chinese language education, and the recruitment of international students to China, injecting new vitality into the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
Chea Kosal expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at our university and hoped to enhance the connection and cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of Cambodia and the universities and enterprises in Hubei. He believed that through digital transformation, the time and space limitations of educational resources could be broken, allowing high-quality teaching resources to benefit more countries and regions.
After the meeting, Fu Hong accompanied Chea Kosal and his delegation to visit the Experimental Teaching Center and the Chu Cuisine Research Institute.
