On June 6th, Dr. Vyacheslav Dmitriev, Vice President of Rennes School of Business in France, and his delegation paid a visit to our university. Fu Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of our university, met with the guests.

Fu Hong extended a warm welcome to Dr. Vyacheslav Dmitriev and his delegation. He introduced the university's history of education, academic disciplines and majors, talent cultivation and other aspects. He especially emphasized the inter-university cooperation, undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as the mutual visits of teachers and students between our university and Rennes School of Business since the establishment of the connection in 2021. Fu Hong stated that although the two universities are miles apart, the similar disciplinary and professional setups and the coincidental talent cultivation objectives mean that the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities are destined to be increasingly vibrant. He hopes that the two universities can further accelerate the cooperation process and expand the scope of cooperation, adding another remarkable chapter to the educational cooperation between China and France.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception by our university, Vyacheslav Dmitriev put forward constructive suggestions for the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, drawing on his own study experience in China and his current areas of responsibility. He said that he hopes that every student from our university who studies at Rennes School of Business can not only broaden their international horizons but also cultivate their critical thinking skills and pursue self-improvement. Wherever they are, they should have a global vision and take practical actions to contribute their wisdom and strength to the world.

The heads of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and  the School of Finance also participated in the meeting.
